Who are we?

Henley Beach Masters Swimming Club is a group of swimmers aged 18 years and over who participate in all aspects of swimming for fitness, fun and friendship. We run regular swim sessions for our members at local pools and our coaches assist all members to achieve their personal goals. We also hold regular social events for members and families.

What do we do?

Members can take part in coached swim training and fitness sessions conducted weekly thought out the year at the Thebarton Aquatic Centre and on Saturdays at Unley Swimming Centre in the Summer and the Adelaide Aquatic Centre during Winter. The club participates in inter-club competitions thought out the year as well as open water swims at various beaches during summer, including our own event, the Henley Beach Challenge.

Where do we come from?

The Henley and Grange Swimming Club is the oldest in South Australia, having been formed in 1912. In 1993 the Henley & Grange Club opened the Thebarton Aquatic Centre in Meyer St Torrensville, which serves as its head-quarters. Our predecessor, the Henley & Grange AUSSI Masters group was established as part of the Henley and Grange Club, also in 1993. Today the Henley Beach Masters group is operating as an independent organisation but retains strong ties to its Henley & Grange roots.

Our Community

In addition to swimming, the Club organises frequent social events where members gather after swimming for a drink and a bite to eat either at the pool or at other venues. There are also regular events after our open water swim, AGM and the end of year presentation dinner. To know more about our events follow us on our social media pages.
